Misty Blue: Award Winning Author Dyanne Davis' Much Anticipated Third Novel Launches

Dyanne Davis premiere novel The Color Of Trouble won an Emma for Favorite New Author in 2004. Her second novel The Wedding Gown was a finalist for an Emma in two categories, Steamiest Romance and Book Of The Year.

Despite these high expectations, Davis third novel, Misty Blue will not disappoint her growing fan base. The most critical of readers, such as those at Romantic Times, have already given the novel glowing reviews.

Based in the happening city of Chicago, Misty Blue tells the story of Mia and Damien, first introduced to fans in The Wedding Gown.

Dyanne Davis explains I fell in love with Mia and Damien while I was writing The Wedding Gown. I sensed the hurt in Mia and wanted to find out what had happened to her.

And much has, in the authors words, Mia and Damien both were emotionally scarred by the adults in their lives and tried to compensate for the things that happened to them by building a wall around their true feelings. Damien became a player in order to not examine his feelings. And Mia, worried about becoming a slut like her mother, denied her sensual nature, thinking there was something vile within her.

So can two people with such extreme and opposite reactions find peace together as a couple? Only Misty Blue will tell.

Dyanne Davis is already looking forward towards the release of her fourth novel, Lets Get It On in December. This novel makes use of Davis background as a retired nurse. Lets Get It On does play on the medical background, the author points out, Heaven is a nurse and Hamid is a doctor. She hints that there may be another medical romance in the future revolving around two doctors.
